Ukraine: metal transportation via Dnepr up in January-May 2019

In January-May Ukraine increased metal cargo transportation via the Dnepr River by 39.4% YoY, to 441.5 thousand tons.

In May, 210.4 thousand tons were transported, almost as much as during January-April.

Ukraine: Surgay Mine to get conveyer

The state enterprise Mine named after Surgay has ordered Sany Ukraine LLC the delivery of a conveyer valued at 79.99 million UAH.

This year the company will have to supply an SGZ 764/400 conveyer manufactured by Sany Heavy Equipment Co Ltd.

Russia: Chukotka gold and silver output down in January-May 2019

In January-May 8660 kg of ore gold was mined in Chukotka, down by 6.3% YoY.

Silver output dropped by 9.3%, to 44.6 tons.

Alluvial gold season will start this month.

In January-March, Russia produced 1.14 million tons of ferrous metal structures, up by 8% YoY.

Construction metal structures manufacture totaled 0.9 million tons, up also by 8%.
