Ukraine: DTEK coal output down in H1 2019

In January-June DTEK decreased coal output compared to the first half of 2018.

According to the company press-service, it mined 12.6 million tons of coal, down by 2.5%.

Gas production dropped by 0.1%, to 817.4 million cubic meters. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: court starts bankrupting DTEK enterprise in occupied Donbass

The Commercial court of Donetsk region has decided to start the proceedings on the bankruptcy of the DTEK Komsomolets Donbassa Mine.

On May 15, 2017 DTEK reported the loss of control over its enterprises in the Russia-supported terrorist-occupied territories.

Ukraine: DTEK ESKO modernizes Azovstal lighting

DTEK ESKO has modernized the lighting system in the transport and treatment department of the Azovstal converter shop.

Instead of 713 old lamps, 553 LED-lamps now light the premises, consuming 90% less electricity.

The lifetime of the new lamps is 15 years.

Lighting systems will be modernized in other shop departments as well. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: DTEK coal output down on 2018

In 2018 DTEK decreased coal output by 1.9% YoY, to 27.186 million tons.

Gas coal mining grew by 5.3%, to 24.13 million tons.

At the same time anthracite coal was not mined.

Obukhovskay mine increased output by 4.9%, to 3.05 million tons.

Coal concentrate production dropped by 9.2%, to 12.36 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: DTEK gas coal output up in 2018

In 2018 DTEK increased gas coal output by 5.3% YoY, to 24.13 million tons.

In particular, DTEK Pavlogradugol mined 20 million tons of coal, and DTEK Dobropolyeugol – 4.1 million tons, up by 48.6%.

Ukraine: DTEK Pavlogradskoye Mine Group ahead of annual plan

DTEK Pavlogradskoye Mine Group has ahead of schedule completed the annual output plan.

The miners yielded 506,900 thousand tons of gas coal 2 months ahead of schedule.

In October the first site started mining coal from the new long face. DTEK invested some 40 million UAH in its development. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: DTEK Pervomayskoye to mine 800 thousand tons of coal from new long face

The Stepnaya mine of the DTEK Pervomayskoye Mine Group has commissioned the long face No. 175.

Some 800 thousand tons of coal will be mined from the new long face in 10 months.
