Ukraine: VostGOK uranium concentrate output down in January-October 2016

Ukraine: KSLZ to employ local citizens

After several years of idleness the Kremenchuk Steel Works starts operating.

The company will be opening new jobs in the railroad car and steel shops for local citizens.

Russia: aluminum alloys output up in January-October 2016

In January-October Russia increased primary aluminum output by 1.4% YoY, with aluminum alloys output up by 11.2%.

According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, aluminum rods and sections production went up by 2.4%, of plates, sheets, strips and bands – by 9.7%, but that of foil dropped by 10.8%, all YoY. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: EMSS to produce parts for Italy

Energomashspetsstal has signed an agreement with Presezzi Extrusion s.p.a. for the delivery of parts for pressure equipment.

EMSS will produce columns and crossheads with the total weight of 63.5 tons.

According to the contract, all the parts have to be supplied in Q1 2017.

Russia: platinum and palladium output down in January-October 2016

In January-October Russia decreased palladium ingots and its alloys output by 0.1% YoY.

Platinum and its ingots production dropped by 0.4% YoY.

In October platinum output dropped by 33.6% YoY and by 28.5% MoM. Palladium output decreased by 30.2% YoY and by 6.2% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
