Russia: Kamskaya Kuznitsa starts producing M90 nuts

Kamskaya Kuznitsa has started producing M90 nuts according to GOST 10605, GOST 10607 and DIN 934.

Russia: Krasniy Octyabr output up in May 2017

Ukraine: DTEK buys expensive Russian coal

DTEK buys its coal in Russia, despite the fact that in Rotterdam it’s cheaper.

The anthracite that DTEK delivers from its own mines in Rostov region costs $95 per ton.

Russia: Kuzbass coal output up in January-May 2017

In January-May Kemerovo region enterprises mined 97.3 million tons of coal, up by 8% YoY.

According to the regional administration, in particular, 72.4 million tons of power-generating coal and 24.9 million tons of coking coal, up by 13.1% and down by 1% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: DTEK miners burned in methane ignition

At night there was a methane ignition at the DTEK Novodonetskaya mine.

As the result 4 miners got light burns.

The ignition occurred on the No. 3 northern face. At the time 122 miners were in the shaft. All of them returned to the surface. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: coal stocks up in early June 2017

Coal stocks at Ukrainian thermal power plants from June 6 through June 12 increased by 1.8%, to 2.52 million tons.

According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, anthracite coal stocks increased by 6.8%, to 608.8 thousand tons, gas-coal – by 0.4%, to 1.91 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)

In 2017 Norilsk Nickel intends to buy as much palladium to its special fund as last year.
