As of October 1, Ukraine (without the temporarily occupied Crimea and the ATO zone) stocks of black coal increased by 13.6% YoY, to 6749.4 thousand tons.
Pavlogradskoe Mine Group has mined its 3rd million tons of coal one month earlier.
The Higher Economic Court of Kiev could invalidate the concession of the DTEK Rovenkiantracit. Centrenergo filed the case to the company and the Ministry for energy and coal industry of Ukraine.
Dneprospetsstal electrometallurgical works named after Kuzmin has received a credit of $55419 thousand from the state Oschadbank with the fixed interest rate of 11%.
The Eurasian Economic Commission decided to impose a 5-year 4.75% antidumping duty on steel wheels (for manufacture of railroad cars and trams) imports from Ukraine. The duty could be imposed in the early 2016.
Metinvest, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, Interpipe and Electrostal ask the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseny Yatsenyuk to help solve the ferrous scrap deficiency problem.
The largest Ukrainian private mining-metallurgical group Metinvest has started negotiations with its creditors as to the debt restructuring with possible variants in mind (change of the payment schedule, capitalization, some debt adjustment, etc.).
Stepnaya mine, a part of DTEK Pervomayskoye Mine Group, has introduced a new technique of safe transportation of the rock with the help of hanging diesel-hydraulic engines and containers with bottom offloading. The trial samples of containers have been designed and produced at Ferrit (Czech republic).
