Ukraine: coke output up in January-May 2018

In January-May Ukrainian by-product coke plants increased 6% moisture coke output by 8% YoY, to 4.508 million tons.

According to the association of by-product coke enterprises Ukrkoks, in May output totaled 896 thousand tons.

At present the by-product coke enterprises are working in stable mode.

In late June coke output has even increased. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: Uchaly GOK buys new machinery

Uchaly Mining and Processing Works has received 2 Sandvik DD311 drilling machines and a Sandvik TH545 underground dump truck.

The machines will be operating at the Novo-Uchalinsky mine.

This is the second underground truck bought this year for the Novo-Uchalinsky deposits.
