Ukraine: Lvivugol gets 30 million UAH for salary

On August 21 Lviviugol received 30 million UAH from the coal sale.

The money was spent to pay July salary to miners.

According to the Lviv state regional administration fuel and energy saving department, the miners received 54% of their salary. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: Metalloinvest net profit up in H1 2017

In January-June Metalloinvest increased its net profit by 36.7% YoY, to $585 million.

The group earnings reached $3.032 billion, up by 57%. EBITDA was $1.061 billion, up by 99.1%.

Russia: Uraltrubprom improving exports

Uraltrubprom has supplied a batch of pipes to Europe of a rare size: 323.9 mm with the wall thickness of 20 mm.

The pipes are manufactured according to EN 10219.

The weight of the batch was 92 tons.

Ukraine: gold and silver imports down in 2016

In 2016 Ukraine imported $13.07 million worth of gold, down almost 2-fold YoY.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the Netherlands supplied the most gold last year – $8.4 million, Switzerland – $3.8 million.
