In 2015 Makeevka By-Product Coke Plant received 12.77 million UAH of losses, down by 40% YoY, or by 8.57 million UAH.

Ukraine: MGOK and OGOK resume operation

Marganets Mining and Processing Works and Ordzhonikidze Mining and Processing Works resumed their operation.

According to the executive director of Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers Sergey Kudryavtsev, the operation of the companies stopped in December 2015.

In March OGOK produced 7.2 thousand tons of manganese concentrate, while MGOK output totaled 46.4 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

The supervisory board of Kremenchuk Steel Works has appointed Victor Samusenko chairman of the board.

According to the company statement, Rostislav Dubrov, Andrei Klimenko and Stanislav Tizh (ex-acting chairman) have been reelected members of the board.

Ukraine: Zakarpatvtormet losses down in 2015

In 2015 Zakarpatvtormet received 957 thousand UAH of losses, down by 12.5% YoY, or by 137 thousand UAH.

According to the company statement, its net income went up 3.9 times YoY, or by 9.19 million UAH, to 12.39 million UAH.

Ukraine: Donbass coal deliveries plans to be ready in 2-3 weeks

The Ministry of energy and coal industry intends to have presented a plan on coal deliveries from Donbass in 2-3 weeks.

Shareholders of Krasnodonugol have recalled Metinvest B.V. from the supervisory board.
