Ukrainian scrap exports in January-April 2013

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in January-April Ukraine did not export any steel scrap, while in the same period last year the country exported 184,025 tons of scrap.

In January-April Ukraine’s scrap imports increased 2.8 times YoY to 61,945 tons worth a total of $24.908 million. (SteelGuru)

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in January-March 2013 Ukraine did not export any steel scrap, while in the same period of last year the country exported 123,900 tons of scrap.

Zaporizhstal finish steel product up by 2.9% in April 2013

According to the company’s preliminary results, Zaporizhstal’s finished steel product output increased by 2.9% to 269,000 tons, while its crude steel production increased by 1.6% to 320,100 tons, both year on year basis.
