Russia: Moscow Exchange suspends trade in ordinary TMK shares

The Moscow Exchange switched trade in ordinary shares of pipe producer TMK into a discreet auction mode after the stock jumped by over 20% within 10 minutes, the bourse said in a statement.

Russia: Uralelectromed produces 4 million tons of copper wire rod

Uralelectromed has produced 4 million tons of copper wire rod in 20 years.

The total length of the rods produced is 8 million km.

Uralelectromed is the largest producer of copper wire rod in Russia.

Ukraine: Mechel pays for DMEZ in full

Russia’s Mechel has paid in full for the Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant purchased in 2011.

The group lost control over the plant 3 years ago.

Mechel bought 100% of the enterprise shares for $537 million with the payment by monthly installments until late 2018.

Russia: MMK-Metiz net profit down in 2018

In 2018 MMK-Metiz received 544.3 million rubles of net profit.

In 2017 the volume of its net profit was the highest – 1.26 billion rubles.

Revenue last year totaled 23.08 billion rubles, up by 13% YoY.

Russia: Zabaikalye to process gravitation gold-bearing concentrates

The Krasnoyarsk region subsidiary of the State Expertise Service of Russia has approved the project to construct a site to process gravitation gold-bearing concentrate in Zabaikalye.

It is expected to process 3 tons of gold-containing raw materials per day.
