Ukraine: Lisichanskugol CEO resigns amid miners strike

On November 12 Valentin Kiselev, the CEO of Lisichanskugol, signed his resignation letter.

Kiselev has already removed his personal belongings form the CEO office.

Earlier Lisichanskugol miners staged a strike demanding their salary debts of 170 million UAH to be cleared and the CEO fired. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: SUEK to construct a mine

Russia: Severstal Steel Ropes registers two trademarks

Severstal Steel Ropes has registered two new trademarks – Alerion and Talpa.

They will be used for elevator steel ropes and steel ropes for mining industry.

The Alerion mark has been given to the elevator steel ropes, while the Talpa mark to mining, excavator and drilling rig ropes. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: ferrous metals deliveries to railroad machine-builders up in October 2018

In October direct deliveries of ferrous metals to railroad machine-builders totaled 119 thousand tons.

According to the railroad statistics, this is up by 3.9% YoY.

In 10 months deliveries grew by 21.4% YoY, to 1.25 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
