Ukraine: Interpipe Steel output up in Q1 2017

In January-March Interpipe Steel produced 181 thousand tons of steel, up by 23.1% YoY.

According to the company statement, in March the works produced 65 thousand tons of steel against 55 thousand in February.

In 2016 Interpipe Steel increased steel output by 2% YoY, to 614 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: metal structures output up in Q1 2017

According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in January-March Russia produced 898 thousand tons of metal structures, up by 15.5% YoY.

In March metal structures output increased by 11% MoM and by 6.7% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)

According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, in January-March Russia produced 14.6 million tons of rolled metal, up by 2.5% YoY.

Russia: Altai-Koks output up in Q1 2017

In January-March Altai-Koks, a part of NLMK, produced 1.03 million tons of coke, up by 16% YoY. The company capacities were 95% loaded.

On Russian market Altai-Koks sold 88% of its coke, with 80% – inside the NLMK group. The rest was exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, Belgium and Finland. (Ukrainian metal)

The company net income went up by 16%, or by 212.5 million UAH, to 1.53 billion UAH.
