Ukraine: coal industry in need of state support

Ukraine’s coal industry needs state support in order to prepare for the heating season of 2016-2017.

“Without the state support coalminers will have problems this heating season. I think the government will find funds to provide for the difference in product price”, said the minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik. (Ukrainian metal)

Eurasian Economic Commission has approved of the implementation of antidumping duties on Ukrainian ferrosilicomanganese for 5 years and prolonged duties on Ukrainian steel pipes.
