On January 4, Lvivugol Velikomostovskaya mine workers refused to go under the earth until their salary debts were cleared.
In January-November 2015 Ukrainian thermal power stations consumed 26.61 million tons of coal, down by 18.1% YoY.
In 2015 Ukraine produced 850 thousand tons of steel pipes, down by 40%, or by 527 thousand tons YoY.
In 2015 Ukraine produced 22.93 million tons of carbon steel, down by 16% YoY.
On December 16, 2015 the Khlebodar village council (Donetsk region) concluded an agreement with Evroaliance LTD for the delivery of 489 thousand tons of anthracite.
A few days before the start of 2016 the Central Processing Factory Pavlogradskaya has reached a labor record: it has processed 4413 thousand tons of ordinary coals. That’s the factory’s largest annual volume of processing.
The miners groups in the social network VKontakte have spread information that Lvivugol would receive money to clear salary debts by January 12 at best, quoting Lvivugol acting CEO Andrei Dyachenko.
The Ministry of economic development and trade reported finding violations in the operation of the United Mining and Chemical Company.
