Belarus: FEZ Gomel-Raton registers manufacturer of high-precision metal products

Gomel-Raton Free Economic Zone (Gomel-Raton FEZ) hosted a new resident – KolosEuroTech, planning to manufacture high-precision metal products.

KolosEuroTech is a Belarusian-Polish joint venture, intended to invest more than $1 million in high-precision metal production at Gomel-Raton FEZ.

Russia: Uralelectromed produces record high output of copper sulfate

In November the copper sulfate shop of Uralelectromed, a part of UMCC, produced 3.5 thousand tons of copper sulfate, up by 30% from the average monthly results.

The increase is believed to stem from the constant modernization of machinery. In 2015 the company worked out a program to increase productivity and output volumes. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: Metinvest supplying galvanized rolled metal to Poland

Metinvest started supplying galvanized rolled metal to Poland.

“We used to supply these products to CIS and to the local market, but we have started to reorient on European customers”, Metinvest-SMC CEO Dmitry Lippa said.
