Russia: nails prices to increase in July 2017

Under the increasing demand and the shortage on the construction nails market Metiznaya Torgovaya Kompaniya (Metal Wares Trading Company) forecasts the increase in prices of manufacturers by 3-5% from July 1.

The company also supposes that prices for bridge fasteners will increase by 10%, and electrodes – by 5%. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: ChTPZ places 10 billion rubles worth of bonds

Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Works has placed BO-001R-04 bonds in the amount of 10 billion rubles.

The company intended to have 9-9.25% interest, but in the end it stood at 8.95%.

Ukraine: Ukrzaliznytsia sells 18.6 tons of non-ferrous scrap

Ukrzaliznytsia has held an auction to sell non-ferrous scrap.

Steelservice LLC offered 1.8 million UAH for 18.6 tons of copper scrap, or 96.1 thousand tons per ton. The price exceeded the estimated cost 7-fold.

Ukraine: Silur puts new shop into operation

Khartsyzsk steel rope works Silur, situated on the territory of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia, has resumed manufacture of wire and mesh.
