Russia: NTPZ starts producing round pipes

Noginsk Pipe-Sections Works has started manufacturing round electric welded pipes.

So far the company can produce pipes with the diameter of 57 mm and 20 mm.

By the end of the year the company intends to have mastered the manufacture of pipes with the diameter of 15, 25, 32, 40 and 50 mm. (Ukrainian metal)

Kazakhstan: KAZ Minerals pays debts

The net debt of KAZ Minerals as of September 30 decreased to $1.986 billion from $2.052 billion as of June 30.

In Q3 the company also paid interest on the loans in the amount of $99 million.

Royalty payments totaled $49 million.

The gross debt of the group is $3.502 billion. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: KMEZ buys new electric forklifts

Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant has received new Linde electric forklifts.

The machines have been sent to the railroad and copper wire rod shops.

They will be used to load products into containers.

The forklifts operate on lithium-ion batteries, thus not polluting the closed premises. (Ukrainian metal)
