Russia: seaports’ ferrous metals transportation down in January-February 2020

In January-February, seaports increased cargo transportation by 0.7% YoY, to 132.4 million tons. Dry cargo transportation dropped by 2.3%, to 54.9 million tons. Russia: gold output up in February 2020

Russia’s production of unrefined, semi-refined or powdered gold rose by 4.5% YoY and by 3.4% MoM in February, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on March 17. In January-February, gold production rose by 6.3% YoY. In 2019, gold production grew by 17%. No absolute figures were disclosed. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
