Russia: UEM to increase lead output

Uralelectromed subsidiary (Manufacture of non-ferrous metals alloys) has started a program of advanced development to increase lead output.

Russia: Trubodetal appoints new managing director

Yevgeniy Baranov has been appointed the managing director of Trubodetal.

He has replaced Dmitry Markov, who has been in the office since July 2015.

Russia: Evraz NTMK modernizes CCM No. 1 automatization system

Evraz NTMK has finished modernizing the automatization system of the continuous casting machine No. 1.

The system has been in used since 1995 and has been based on Siemens S5 equipment.

Ukraine: scrap exports down in 2018

Ukraine: UGOK output down in 2018

In 2018 Yuzhniy Mining and Processing Works decreased concentrate output by 0.2% YoY, to 12.247 million tons. According to the company press-service, sinter manufacture dropped by 6.04%, to 1.746 million tons. Ukraine: state miners owed 200 million UAH

As of December 1, 2018 the salary debt to state miners was over 196 million UAH.

The total indebtedness was 234.7 million UAH, up by 84.1 million UAH since the start of the year.

Ukraine: OTP sells Interpipe debts with discount

OTP Bank has sold the rights to demand teh return of the problem loan from Interpipe with a discount of up to 80%.
