Russia: VSMPO-Avisma improving titanium plate production

Mashprom (Yekaterinburg) is supplying and assembling machinery for titanium plates to the sheet-rolling complex of VSMPO-Avisma.

The line is expected to be put into operation in the nearest future. Delivery and assembly of the equipment are carried out in full accordance with the schedule.

VSMPO-Avisma should start operating the new line in August. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: lead concentrate output in January 2017

In January Russia increased lead concentrate output by 45.3% YoY.

According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, the results are below December 2016 by 1.8%.

In January raw cobalt production in Russia decreased by 7.9% YoY and by 0.5% MoM.
