Russia: metal and mining products Far Eastern railroad throughput up in March 2019

In March, Far Eastern Railroad transported 4.27 million tons of cargo, up by 1.8% YoY.

In particular, iron and manganese ore transportation grew by 9.3%, to 533 thousand tons, and metal wares – by 22.4%, to 290 thousand tons.

At the same time transportation of coal decreased by 5.8%, to 4.596 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: BMK supplies new polymer-coated ropes to CIS and EU

Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works has supplied trial batches of steel ropes with polymer coating to Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria and Estonia. Russia: Sibantrazit revenue up in 2018

In 2018 Sibantrazit enterprises (Sibirsky Antrazit, Razrez Vostochniy LLC and Razrez Kiyzasskiy LLC) mined 24.1 million tons of coal and sold 23.7 million tons.

The group revenue reached 132.8 billion rubles, up 1.9-fold YoY.

Taxes paid amounted to 12.5 billion rubles, with profit tax accounting for 8.4 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
