Russia: Chukotka coal output up in 2017

In 2017 Chukotka Autonomous District mined 445.3 thousand tons of coal, up by 93% YoY.

The considerable increase was reached thanks to the commissioning of the Fandyushkinskoye pole deposits in December 2016.

The license is owned by Beringpromugol LLC. Last year the company mined 255.88 thousand tons of coal there. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: coal exports up in 2017

Export of Russian coal in 2017 increased by 4% YoY, to 185.136 million tons, the Ministry of Energy said.

The commodity exports volume in December 2017 reached 15.082 million tons.

Russia: Petropavlovsk obtains 13.6 tons of gold in 2017

In 2017 Petropavlovsk Plc produced 13.62 tons of ore gold in Amur region, or 53% of the total output.

The output increased by 9.7% YoY, or by 1.2 tons. The increase was provided by 3 out of 4 company mines: Pioner, Albyn and Malomyr. Pokrovsky mine decreased output. (Ukrainian metal)
