Russia: coal exports up in January-November 2017

Export of Russian coal from January through November increased by 5% YoY, to 170.428 million tons, the Ministry of Energy said.

The commodity exports volume in November reached 15,339,000 tons.

Coal mining in January-November amounted to 371,772,000 tons, of which 323,146,000 tons were delivered. (PortNews/Ukrainian metal)

Russia: REMZ resumes steel manufacture

REMZ employees have resumed operation after their salary debts have been cleared.

In November REMZ produced 30 thousand tons of steel, the largest monthly volume this year. The target has been exceeded by 65%.
