Russia: Kaltanskaya Factory reaches project capacity

Kuzbassrazrezugol’s Kaltanskaya Energeticheskaya Processing Factory has reached project capacity.

This is the company’s only factory that processes T-grade coal. It was put into operation in January 2015, and since then has processed 3.8 million tons of coal.

Now the factory is working at full capacity, processing 250 thousand tons of coal per month. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: NZF silicomanganese output down in October 2016

Ukraine: ferroalloys output up in October 2016

In October Ukraine produced 94.7 thousand tons of ferroalloys, up by 8% MoM, or by 7 thousand tons.

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, in January-October ferroalloy output went up by 11.4% YoY, or by 86.3 thousand tons, to 847.6 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: ZZF ferroalloy output up in October 2016

In October Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant produced 25.7 thousand tons of ferroalloys, up by 8.9% MoM, or by 2.1 thousand tons.

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers, in January-October ZZF ferroalloy output dropped by 5.7% YoY, or by 14.2 thousand tons, to 234.1 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: VostGOK to buy 13.4 million cbm of gas in 2017

The state enterprise Vostochny Mining and Processing Works has announced a purchase of 13.397 million cubic meters of gas in 2017.

According to the company statement, the offers are welcome until December 19. The expected cost of the purchase is 109.58 million UAH.

Ukraine: steel pipe export-import in October 2016

In October Ukraine exported $31.12 million worth of steel pipes, while imports totaled $5.52 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the main consumer of Ukrainian steel pipes in October was Russia ($8.45 million).

In January-October Ukraine exported $331.09 million worth of pipes, with imports at $83.16 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: DTEK sees losses in Q3 2016

In July-September DTEK received 2.61 billion UAH of losses against 0.52 billion UAH of losses in Q2.

According to the company statement, its income went up by 15.8% QoQ, or by 4 billion UAH, to 29.31 billion UAH (25.31 billion UAH in Q2). EBITDA totaled 4.16 billion UAH (955 million UAH in Q2). (Ukrainian metal)
