Ukrainian pig iron prices reach $550 CFR

Pig iron from Ukraine has reached during last days as high as $548 per ton CFR FO Mediterranean ports.

AMK production performance in March

It is reported that in March in comparison with February the Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works increased its output of;

– finished rolled metal by 95.2% up to 369,000 tons;
– steel by 72.0% up to 387,000 tons;
– iron by 67.5% up to 330,000 tons;
– agglomerate by 23.1% up to 437,000 tons.

In March in comparison with February the Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky increased its production of:

– finished rolled metal by 51.3% up to 283,000 tons;
– steel by 49.8% up to 301,000 tons;
– iron by 24.2% up to 280,000 tons;

Zaporizhstal owners to sell metallurgical assets
