Azerbaijan: gold output up in January-February 2018

In January-February Azerbaijan obtained 1353.4 kg of gold, up 7.5-fold YoY.

According to the State Statistics Committee, in February gold output totaled 608.3 kg.

Last year the country yielded 6390.8 kg of gold, up 3.4-fold YoY.

Russia: two employees damaged in Gaysky GOK cave-in

As a result of a cave-in at the Gaysky GOK mine two miners were damaged.

This is the third accident at the enterprise in a month.

The employees are in the emergency clinic.

The United Metal Company has been named the best manufacturer of pipe products for the oil and gas industry in 2017.
