According to preliminary data, in May Ukraine produced 1.62 million tons of steel, down by 11.1% YoY.
Pig iron manufacture dropped by 0.9%, to 1.66 million tons, and rolled metal – by 17.1%, to 1.43 million tons.
In January-May, Ukraine produced 8.28 million tons of steel (-10.7% YoY), 8.15 million tons of pig iron (-6.6%) and 7.4 million tons of rolled metal (-6.4%). (Ukrainian metal)
