On the occasion of Miners’ Day, Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi presented awards to 26 workers in the coal sector.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the coal industry remained an important part of Ukraine’s energy system and economy. The sector currently employs around 20,000 people, who work in extraordinarily difficult conditions every day, facing constant danger and russian attacks.
“Miners deserve proper working conditions and the full support and recognition of the state and society,” the Prime Minister stressed.
