In 2020, due to the energy saving measures, Azovstal was able to save 1.3 million cubic meters of gas, 78 thousand tons of coke and 101.5 million kW-h of electricity.
The combined effect reached $15.2 million.
In particular, the company increased the usage of pulverized coal in blast furnace manufacture.
The company also continued implementing a joint project with YASNO Efficiency to modernize lighting system. (Ukrainian metal)
