In January, Russia produced 18.92 tons of gold, down by 1 ton YoY. Ore gold output amounted to 15.56 tons, down from 16.12 tons.

Amur region demonstrated the largest drop – by 45.9%. Krasnoyarsk region increased output by 6%, to 3.8 tons, and Chukotka by 13%, to 1.8 tons. Magadan region decreased output by 3.2%, to 1.9 tons.

Silver manufacture dropped by 5.4%, to 68.34 tons. Magadan region yielded 12.2 tons, up by 1%, Chukotka – 8.1 tons (+4.6%) and the Republic of Sakha – 5 tons (-12.1%). (Ukrainian metal)
