In January-March, Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased rolled metal output by 15% YoY, to 1 million tons.
Steel manufacture grew by 2.2%, to 1.07 million tons, pig iron – by 11.3%, to 1.21 million tons, and sinter – by 14.8%, to 3.35 million tons.
In March, the company produced 350 thousand tons of rolled metal, 370 thousand tons of steel, 450 thousand tons of pig iron and 1.2 million tons of sinter. (Ukrainian metal)
