First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited one of the mines in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where at a depth of 480 meters he met with miners who, despite constant Russian shelling and danger, continued to go underground and do their work.
The mine was also visited by musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, who supported energy industry workers, whose work helped ensure the stability of the state, by performing his most famous compositions for them directly underground.
Denys Shmyhal thanked the miners for their daily work, courage and resilience.
“I thank everyone for their courage, endurance and dedication to their work. Grateful to Svyatoslav Vakarchuk for his consistent support of energy industry workers and for this special moment for miners and energy workers. Light will definitely win!” said Denys Shmyhal. (Energy Ministry)
