In 2019, 422 employees perished in the industry, up by 3.2% YoY.
The total number of work accidents was 3.876 thousand, down by 6%.
In particular in metallurgy 199 people were injured and 13 perished, while in mining – 160 and 16 respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
