The auctions to sell arrested iron ore, stored in the port of Pivdenniy, were not held again.
Two batches of the arrested ore were put up for sale at a price twice lower than during the first auctions. The first batch of iron ore with the weight of 41989 tons, for which the price at the first auction was 414 million UAH, was now listed for 207 million UAH.
The second lot, of 8159.716 tons, with the initial price of 80 million UAH, was now offered for 40.264 million UAH.
The auctions were not held due to the absence of participants.
The iron ore in question was produced by the Lebedinskiy Mining and Processing Works, belonging to the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov. Before the arrest, the iron ore was delivered to the port to be later transported to China. (Ukrainian metal)
