Uzbekistan: Chinese companies to look for non-ferrous metals

A number of Chinese companies plan to carry out projects to mine tungsten, molybdenum and copper on the Ingichka plateau.

According to the preliminary agreement, $50-55 million will be invested in the construction of infrastructure.

In Q1 Zabaykalye region yielded 929 kg of gold, up by 17% YoY.

Tungsten concentrate output totaled 215.54 tons.

Zinc and lead concentrate manufacture reached 13822.54 tons and 8091.45 thousand tons respectively.

The Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine has cancelled licenses for non-ferrous metal wares exports.
