Russia’s gold output rose by 16.18% YoY, to 337.26 tons in January-November 2019, the Finance Ministry said citing the data on supplies to the refining plants.

Mined gold output rose by 9.09%, to 266.06 tons, and by-product gold output by 21.97%, to 17.6 tons, while gold scrap production grew by 67.6%, to 53.6 tons.

Silver output decreased by 12.74%, to 903.72 tons in the period. Primary silver production fell by 3.57%, to 440.91 tons, while by-product silver output increased by 6.5%, to 311.78 tons, and production of silver scrap fell by 47.13%, to 151.03 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
