According to Worldsteel, in January-August, global steel output amounted to 1251.07 million tons, down by 1.54% YoY.
The leader is China with 691.41 million tons, down by 3.3%. Its share in the global steel output is 55.3%.
Ukraine produced 5.27 million tons of steel, up by 30.79%, having gone up from the 21st place to the 20th place among 71 countries. (Ukrainian metal)
