Interpipe has resumed shipping steel pipes to Qatar Petroleum, one of the largest oil companies in the Near East.

The companies started cooperating in 2020, but after the Russian invasion in February 2022, ship deliveries were suspended.

Last year, cooperation resumed, and until the end of the year more than 4 thousand tons of linear seamless pipes were shipped to be used in the Dukhan Field Flowlines project.

“Qatar Petroleum has one of the strictest technical requirements for pipes. So this contract is important for Interpipe not only because of volumes, but also because of reputation. Its successful implementation will not only allow us taking part in further stages of the project, but also help pre-qualify in other oil and gas companies of Qatar,” Interpipe director on pipe sales to the markets of the Near East, Asia and Africa Artem Artemov has said.
