In April, Ukraine exported 101.7 thousand tons of semi-finished steel products, up by 17% MoM, but down by 5.6% YoY. Revenue grew by 24%, to $56.01 million.

According to the State Customs Service, compared with April 2022, export revenue decreased by 26.3%.

In January-April, Ukraine exported 296.13 thousand tons of semi-finished steel products valued at $158.3 million, down by 74.3% and by 77.6% YoY respectively.

The main customers were Poland (40.53% in monetary terms), Bulgaria (15.87%) and the Dominican Republic (9.21%).

Exports have been steadily growing since the start of the year. In February exports increased by 80.6% MoM and in March – by 25.5%. This testifies to the increase in steel production in Ukraine. (Ukrainian metal)
