Since 2022, processing companies can receive grants from the state of up to 8 million UAH to modernize or buy new manufacturing machinery.
The grant program is a part of the state policy to support and develop Ukrainian manufacturers “Made in Ukraine”.
The Russian full-scale invasion disrupted supply chains for Sitka Zakhid Ukraina. The main materials – wire – came from the east of Ukraine. Logistics disruption put the manufacture on the brink. But the company was able to find a solution. With the help of the “Made in Ukraine” program it received 8 million UAH and purchased a wiredrawing machine. Now the company produces wire on its own.
With the new machine the company can produce up to 25 tons of wire per day. 25 new jobs have been created.
At present 30% of the company products are exported to the EU countries, including Poland, France and Lithuania. (Ukrainian metal)
