In January-May, Ukraine decreased steel output by 43.7% YoY, to 2.39 million tons.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, pig iron manufacture dropped by 43.9%, to 2.35 million tons, and rolled metal – by 47.8%, to 1.98 million tons.
In May, Ukraine produced 470 thousand tons of rolled metal, down by 3.5% MoM, but up by 31.7% YoY, 583 thousand tons of steel, up by 1.6% MoM and by 86.3% YoY, and 603 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 10.8% MoM and by 53.8% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
