Centravis has reached the output level of some 30 tons or 150 thousand meters of tool pipes for car industry per month at its manufacturing site in Uzhgorod.
Until the end of the year, the output is expected to double to 60 tons or 255 thousand meters.
The subsidiary in Zakarpatye region opened in February under the relocation program from Nikopol. At the same time, the Nikopol plant continues operation, supplying billets to Uzhgorod.
The increase in output will allow the company satisfying the needs of car industry to produce some 100 thousand cars per month, as each car requires 1-2 meters of stainless steel seamless pipes. (Ukrainian metal)
