In January-November 2014 Ukrainian companies exported 837.14 thousand tons of scrap for $265.44 million as opposed to 219.47 thousand tons for $68.42 million in 2013.

In November Ukraine exported $270.72 million worth of semi-finished steel products, with imports on the level of $5.49 million.
Experts forecast Ukrainian export volumes of scrap in 2015 on the level of 1.2 million tons.
In January-November 2014 Ukraine imported $1.61 billion worth of boghead and blind-coal.
In 2015 Ukrainian steel prices will continue falling due to manufacture cost price decrease and high competitions between manufacturers.
It is reported that Ukraine’s metallurgical coke output totaled 12.93 million tonnes during the first eleven months of 2014, down by 19.9% compared to the same time of last year.
