In January-May Ukrainian metal companies exported 8.4 million tons of products worth $3.5 billion, down by 26.3% and 40.7% YoY respectively.

In June Ukraine produced 6709 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, up by 0.1%, or by 6 thousand tons MoM.

In January-June Ingulets Mining and Processing Works (InGOK, Kriviy Rih), a part of the Metinvest Group, produced 5.7 million tons of iron ore concentrate, down by 17.2% YoY.
Ukraine has to buy certain grades of coal from mines in the Russia-supported terrorists-occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
In January-June 2015 Ukrainian companies produced 474.8 thousand tons of ferroalloys, down by 11.2% YoY.
July 13-26 saw export prices for Ukrainian pig iron fall by 10%, to $235-245 per ton FOB Black sea, down by 38% YoY.
