Russia: Rusal to supply all aluminum in long run

The largest global aluminum producer Rusal wants to supply all the metal produced to Russia in the long run, Sales Director for Russia and CIS Roman Andryushin said.

Rusal expects aluminum consumption to grow from 1.4 million tons per year at present to 2.5 million tons by 2024, the manager said. (TASS/Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: Zakarpatvtormet fires chairman

Supervisory board of Zakarpatvtormet has dismissed Alexander Alyaniy from the office of the chairman and general director. He also occupied the same office in Ternopolvtormet. Yuri Osipenko has been appointed instead. Osipenko used to work in Azovstal and Metinvest. Ternopolvtormet appointed Alyaniy in July 2015.
