Russia: ZEMZ starts producing slabs of new sizes

In October ZEMZ started producing slabs of 12X18H10T steel with the size of 150×680 and 150×700 mm for the Krasniy Oktyabr Iron and Steel Works.

This is the first time that ZEMZ produces slabs of such a width.

The slabs have been manufactured at the 1150-mill of the rolling shop No. 1. (Ukrainian metal)

In particular, pipe output totaled 12 thousand tons.

Russia: Metalloinvest net profit up in January-September 2017

In January-September Metalloinvest received $1.089 billion of net profit, up by 53.8% YoY.

Revenue totaled $4.556 billion, up by 52.4% YoY.

Ukraine: Lvivugol orders 25 million UAH worth of self-rescuers

The state enterprise Lvivugol has ordered Zakhidprom Trade LLC the delivery of self-rescuers valued at 25.5 million UAH.

According to the agreement the company has to supply 679 self-rescuers produced by Dezega (Turkey). The price of self-rescuers is 9449.92 UAH apiece.

Lvivugol bought 421 self-rescuers at the same price in August. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: coal output down in October 2017

In October Ukraine mined 2 million tons of coal, down by 25.9% YoY.
