Ukraine: EMSS fulfilling AM roll order

Energomashspetsstal is fulfilling the order to supply rolls for ArcelorMittal.

According to the contract, in December 2017 the company shipped 343 tons of rolls.

The rolls went to ArcelorMittal plants situated in Kazakhstan, France and Ukraine.

Belarus: BMZ pipes output up in 2017

In 2017 Belarus Iron and Steel Works produced 141.8 thousand tons of hot-rolled seamless pipes, up by 170% YoY.

This is the maximum output in 10 years.

Pipes were shipped to 126 customers in 19 countries.

The major importers of Belarus pipes are Russia, USA, Italy, Germany and Poland. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: PNTZ passes ISO 14001:2015 EMS audit

Pervouralsky Pipe Works was one of the first enterprises of Sverdlovsk region to confirm the correspondence of its environment management system to ISO 14001:2015.

The audit has been carried out by TUV Rheinland.

The certificate is valid for 3 years.

Russia: Bystrinsky GOK to get first gold-containing concentrate by late March 2018

Bystrinskoye LLC in Zabaykalye region intends to obtain its first gold containing, copper and magnetite concentrate at the end of the first quarter.

After that the plant will be commissioned.

The capacity of each line is 5 million tons of ore per year.

Russia: MMK output up in 2017

In 2017 MMK increased steel output by 2.5% YoY, to 12.86 million tons. Ukraine: NGZ alumina output up in 2017

In 2017 Nikolaev Alumina Works produced 1.676 million tons of alumina, up by 10.95% YoY.

Last year the company finished the project to increase alumina output to 1.7 million tons. Investments in 2015-2017 totaled $10.3 million.
