Russia: UGMK to invest 2.2 billion rubles into Gaysky GOK mine

In 2016 UGMK will invest some 2.2 billion rubles into underground mining at the Gaysky Mining and Processing Works.

According to the company statement, this will increase mining capacities to 7 million tons of ore per year.

Gaysky GOK plans to mine 9.2 million tons of ore, slightly down YoY. (Ukrainian metal)

In January-October Ingulets Mining and Processing Works produced 9.74 million tons of iron ore concentrate, up by 2.6% YoY.
