Ukrainian steel mills hike plate and HR prices

It is reported that the Ukrainian mills have announced new prices for 2nd quarter 2010.
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has increased plate prices to $555 per ton FOB basis, while Zaporozhstal is looking for a price above $600 per ton FOB ST for HRC. (Steelprices-europe)

Ukrainian steelmakers issue output data for January

The major Ukrainian steelmakers have released their preliminary production results for the first month of 2010.
