Ukraine: EAEC renews FSM imports duties

The Eurasian Economic Committee has resumed the 26.35% import duty on ferrosilicomanganese from Ukraine.

“We asked the ministers not to take this decision. But they decided to renew the duty”, Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers Sergey Kudryavtsev said.

The import duty was temporarily stopped on July 1. (Ukrainian metal)

Azovstal has halted its blast furnace No. 2 for capital repairs valued at 60 million UAH.

Ukraine: EMSS makes billets for EschmannStahl

Energomashspetsstal has supplied billets for die tooling to EschmannStahl GmbH.

According to the company statement, the order was placed in October. In November EMSS supplied 51 tons of billets to Germany.
