Ukraine: steel pipe output down in April 2016

In April Ukraine produced 72 thousand tons of steel pipes, down by 10% MoM, or by 8 thousand tons.

According to Metallurgprom, in January-April pipe output went down by 10.4% YoY, or by 30 thousand tons, to 259 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: steel pipes export-import in April 2016

In April Ukraine exported $28.79 million worth of steel pipes, while imports totaled $6.51 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, one of the main importers of Ukrainian pipes in April was Russia ($5.13 million).

In January-April Ukraine exported $122.2 million worth of steel pipes, with imports on the level of $44.36 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: Ferrexpo clears pre-export financing

Ferrexpo Plc, controlling Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works, has cleared $103 million of its pre-export financing.

“As of April 30, $103 million of debts and interests were cleared”, said the company in its statement.

The group also has an outdated VAT debt of $10 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: iron ore export-import in April 2016

In April Ukraine exported $172.81 million worth of iron ore, while imports reached $8.32 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importer in April was China ($84.7 million).

In January-April Ukraine exported $511.34 million worth of iron ore, while imports totaled $37.61 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: long rolled products export-import in April 2016

In April Ukraine exported $148.45 million worth of long rolled products, while imports totaled $11.65 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, one of the main importers in April was Iraq ($20.72 million).

In January-April Ukraine exported $525.67 million worth of long rolled metal with imports on the level of $41.85 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: pig iron output up in April 2016

In April pig iron output in Ukraine went up by 0.7% MoM, or by 15 thousand tons, to 2063 thousand tons.

According to Metallurgprom, in January-April Ukraine produced 7916 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 23% YoY, or by 1480 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: rolled metal output up in April 2016

In April Ukraine produced 2016 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 6.6% MoM, or by 125 thousand tons.

According to Metallurgprom, in January-April rolled metal output went up by 18.5% YoY, or by 1143 thousand tons, to 7311 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: ferrous scrap export-import in April 2016

In April Ukraine exported $14.37 million worth of ferrous metals scrap, with imports on the level of $0.24 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importer of Ukrainian scrap in April was Turkey ($14.23 million).

In January-April scarp exports totaled $16.84 million, while imports were on the level of $1.78 million. (Ukrainian metal)

Ukraine: Kremenchuk Steel Works appoints chairman

Supervisory board of Kremenchuk Steel Works has appointed Victor Samusenko chairman of the board.

According to the company statement, Rostislav Dubrov, Andrei Klimenko and Stanislav Tyzha were reelected members of the board.
